This weld on bracket set increases the strength of the weak front shock mount, at the axle, on the 2014-2024 Ram 2500 and Power Wagon, and 2013-2024 Ram 3500. When using smaller 2.0 shocks, these supports are not normally needed, because it's not possible for small shocks to build a lot of damping force.
Once you move up to 2.5 and larger shocks, with higher levels of compression damping, the OEM mount can rip away from the axle tube. There are actually 2 issues with the OEM axle mount. Number one, it is a somewhat bad design. Number Two, to make the bad design even worse, most trucks are missing weld at the top side of the bracket flanges, where they weld to the axle tube.
Our weld on brace adds strength the OEM design, by adding more weld area, and by removing the weak Single-Shear aspect where the shock bolts in.
For a weld on product, this installation is very simple. The process basically involves removing the shocks out of the lower mount, clean the paint off the OEM mounts where weld is missing and where our bracket will be welded on, finish welding the OEM mounts to the axle tube where weld is missing, lay on our bracket and weld, paint, and re-install the shocks.

I ordered these to beef up the lower shock mounts. Fit right in and welded easy. I used the lower shock bolt to hold it in place while welding and that kept it lined up. The steel is much heavier than the OEM brackets.
Mount was easy to figure out and weld up in my gravel driveway. Feel much better about mobbing with the increased strength from the bracket. Factory dodge bracket is trash.
I had it. My buddy didn’t. Same setup same weekend. He lost his driver side shock, I got to keep boogying
