     Our Fox 2.5 Remote reservoir shocks offer great on road comfort, and at the same time can provide high end off-road performance. The DSC adjuster equipped remote reservoir provides additional damping and cooling, so we can slow down the rebound damping reducing bounce, while adding compression damping for added control off road at speed.

The main internal valving we designed for these series of shocks is very unique, as it was developed in a virtual Shock Dyno computer program. Designing the valving this way was very tricky, but once we got all the details squared away in the computer, it let us squeeze every bit of performance out of the shocks internals.


     These are a great option for anything from low speed off-road, to aggressive off-road driving. The DSC adjuster provides a range of compression damping similar to our Stage 2 King 2.5 shocks when at full soft, and about Stage 4 when the adjusters are set to full stiff.***

     Note: If you decide to swap out your rear coils at a later date, from OEM to ours, or vice versa, you will have to buy new rear shocks also, so make sure you plan your build accordingly. Reason for this is that the rear shocks for our coils are quite a bit longer fully extended.

     Consider adding Shock Boots to protect the shock shafts. With exposed shock shafts, regular Off-Road, and winter ice and snow conditions where they gravel and salt roads, can quickly ruin shocks. Mud and salt dried on the shafts, can penetrate the seals during use, and this is also not covered under warranty.

*** If you plan to possibly run these front shocks in their stiffest setting, and run hard off road, really consider installing our front shock mount support. These shocks have enough damping ability they can rip off the axle side shock mount.

Love the look

Finally pulled the trigger. Love the look. Definitely rides better have to finish adjusting and fine tuning the suspension but I’m pretty sure it’s going to amazing after I fine tune the adjustments.

Nice Valving!

The Thuren Tuned Fox 2.5 DSC replace a set of factory Fox 2.0 front reservoir/rear plain (non-Thuren valved version) (@10k miles on them in varied SW terrain that were a significant improvement over stock bilsteins) that just weren't doing the job controlling my 10k # PowerWagon (four wheel camper, white knuckle sliders, Thuren track bars, Big Wig Hellwig sway bar, Thuren springs, Carli ball joints, Synergy tie/drag links, method HD bead grips, 35 KM3), vehicle/wheel movements on highway or rough 4wd track. The modulation and control on washboard, sandy small whoops, small rock gardens and at high speed freeway is a major improvement and finally the vehicle movements feels appropriately controlled which left me and my dawg smiling. And this is on the softest settings for both low and high speed compression: I'll play around a bit with the settings, probably a click or 3 on low only, but it feels pretty awesome at the pseudo King Level 2 description. Thuren really got the valving down pat on these. Lot a $, but PW movement modulation went from grade C minus to A plus. Impressive Shocks!

Great Shocks

Absolutely love them. Have 200k+ miles on my truck and this is by far the best it's ever rode/handled. Only been driving on new shocks for a week and a half, so I haven't tinkered with the adjustments much, but I've had it on interstates, washboard back roads and everything in between. If you're looking for a serious, long-term upgrade you won't regret it. Couldn't be happier.
