Our Active-Rate sway bar is a softer spring rate compared to the stock OEM unit, allowing the axle to move and articulate more independently, side to side.

This softer rate smooths out off-camber bumps, pot holes, curbs, etc.

Fitment:

  • Fits 2013-2026 Ram 3500 SRW and DRW
  • Fits stock height unmodified trucks through lifts up to 3" height
  • Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity, for example, a slide in camper.
  • NOTE: Some add-on steering braces may interfere with our Sway Bar. If you have one, email us a picture of your brace to verify compatibility.

Details:

  • Clears 37x12.5 tires on stock wheels, with no rub on the sway bar
  • Compliment with Thuren Alien Arms, to get full zero-rub turning radius with 37x12.5's and high positive-offset, tucked in wheels
  • Stainless steel frame bushing clamps and joint sleeves
  • 6061 Aluminum machined Sway Bar Links.
  • Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings
  • 6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly. In this application, non -greasable joints can become noisy early in the life-cycle
  • Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used on all Thuren Sway Bar Links

Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example, a slide in camper, or a heavy Roof Top Tent(RTT) equipped Overlanding build.

Our Active Rate Sway Bar functions great with heavy Gooseneck and 5th wheel towing, heavy weight in the bed below the top rail, or heavy weight on the bumper receiver hitch.

    This changed the way I drive

    So I read several reviews, the majority said changing the sway bar impacted the ride quality positively. I’m incrementally trying to get a 3500ram diesel with snow plow prep to ride less like a brick in a dryer. I figured I’d start with suspension kit softener springs shocks etc. well stock issues let me to order the sway bar first and the change to ride with just that is nothing less than amazing. I can’t wait until the rest of the parts are in stock to take the rest of the rural roads bumps out - I don’t have to prepare to go over the bumps by moving to the center of the vehicle so as not to hit my head on the window, this is great.

    Great Investment for a 3500

    I installed the active sway bar on my Ram 3500 4x4 with the 6.7 Cummins. It is night and day difference between the factory sway and this upgrade kit. The truck drives and turns much smoother now. I Highly Recommend this upgrade.

    2021 Ram 3500 Dually

    My dually has the Thuren leveling springs as well as fox remote reservoir shocks. It’s sitting on 37” tires all around and has a heavy ranch hand style front bumper with a winch. It was a very rough and jolty ride with the oem sway bar. The new Thuren sway bar took away about 90% of the harshness from the front end at 40mph and above! Love it!!!

    Awesome Swaybar

    Installed swaybar on my 2024 Ram 3500 Dually and it really settled the front end down. Truck was very rough riding for my wife and this helps a lot. Easy install and alignment shop is very impressed.
