Fox 2.0 ATS (Adjustable Through Shaft) Steering Damper

Fitment:

  • Fits 2013-2024 Ram 3500 SRW and DRW.
  • Does not fit the solid front axle 2 wheel drive trucks.
  • Does not fit Chassis-Cab trucks.

Details:

  • Adjustable
  • Through-shaft technology prevents any internal pressure from inducing steering push/pull.
  • The ATS Steering Damper uses metal bearing ends and is externally adjustable.
  • The ATS Steering Damper damping force with the valve wide-open feels similar to the TS version. You can easily turn the flathead screw click adjuster to stiffen it up if you like.
  • This version is great for larger tires that tend to have a little more wobble, the firmer settings is much more effective than the TS version.

Review of Fox 2.0 ATS Damper 2021 Ram 3500 DRW

This was a major upgrade not just in adjustability but mechanical integration. Truck was purchased with dual fox stabilizers outfitted with the overarching steel linkage plate to relocate mounting to the front side of the steering linkage. The extensive lateral stress to the area resulted in failure in the system through material failure in the drivers side seal head and vibration between the differential mount and the top
Of the steering linkage. Relocating the new ATS damper to the original OEM location guarded between the differential and steering linkage reduces excess stress and provides a broad range of adjustability integrated in the dampener. Everything was installed per the very detailed instructions and torqued to factory specifications. The steering feedback was immediately recognizable and adjusted to suitability. Truck is configured with Thurber track bar, Thuren 3” springs, Bilstien shocks, and rides on 185/75r17 tires.
Very happy with the results! Shipping and delivery were fast and efficient!
