Thuren Fabrication soft-rate coil springs are the perfect blend of a soft ride, high performance, and great control. Starting in 2014, Ram decided to design the Power Wagon upper and lower front coil spring mounts at an angle.

This created problems, as with these angled seats and a flat-end coil(OEM), the coil will have a heavy bow in it when loaded. With some tricky engineering, we were able to combat the angled seats and design a coil which once installed, stands very straight.

Details:

  • Be sure you measure Your Specific Truck to find the lift height you would like.
  • NOTE: Some of the newer(2023-24) trucks seem to be a bit heavier, so you may get slightly less lift than noted.
  • 6% stiffer than the OEM coils, providing more balance, without losing any suspension travel.
  • If not purchasing our shocks to work with these coils, please contact us to make sure your shocks will function properly. Even aftermarket shocks per application for a leveling kit with stock coils, will not work properly, as they are much too short at full extension and the damping rates are way off.
  • Each 5160 alloy spring is fully CNC computer formed and tested using the most high-tech manufacturing processes.
  • Designed to still use factory compression/bump travel. No bump drops needed.
  • No radius arm drops required, these coils are designed around the OEM bump travel constraints.
  • Proven Linear rate design, just like all of our other coils, to provide consistent feel through the range of motion.

Love the New Thuren Springs!

I ordered the 0.5" springs over the 1.5" option and they ended up being perfect. I already had the Carli track bar, but Thuren advised that I wouldn't have to adjust it from the stock setting for the 0.5" springs. For anyone who has the Carli track bar, while it's a quality piece, adjusting it is comically difficult when it comes to hitting the 200 ft lb torque speck on the lock nut. Due to this, it was a benefit that I didn't have to mess with it. Once installed, I actually picked up about double the 0.5" due to the bow in the OE Power Wagon springs and how tired they were after 100K miles (mine's a 2019). I love how the truck sits now, very close to level and it rides, handles and drives better than ever. Highly recommended!

Made the switch from 1/2 to 1 1/2 Thuren Springs

Very happy with the switch from the 1/2 springs to the 1 1/2 springs. Truck is now level with the help of the HSK Shim kit for the rear. Only used one 5/8 shim and will check again once everything gets some settling in on the new set up. Carry a lot of gear in Ram Boxes and off and on gear and tools in the bed. I may add another shim if I lose any height in the rear. Thuren is the best with quality and expertice in getting the right set up for Rams and specialize in set ups for Power Wagons.

Wish I got sooner!

Paid off my power wagon and was looking at thuren since I first got a front track bar. Their products are top quality. Front coils easy to install I do have a noise coming from the front left after install I haven't figured out quite yet like a spring noise but I'll figure it out. The ride quality is unbelievable.. You can hit obstacles at 3x the speed with the springs and fox shocks!
