Regular price $45.00The original equipment upper rear shock mounting nuts are very hard, if not almost impossible, to get a standard wrench on. Cutting down a wrench to make it fit the space available, is often your only option.
To avoid cutting wrenches and wasting time, this set gives you a custom laser cut wrench for removing the OEM nuts, and 2 new nuts with tabs attached to make servicing the rear shocks much easier!
This is an absolute must if changing out your rear shocks on 09-2018 Ram 1500. Made the process an absolute breeze and allows for easy shock replacement in the future. This is my first ever review of anything - that should prove how happy I am with this part.
Tried to take the top nut off of the top of the rear shock on a 2016 ram 1500 and it stripped the Thuren tool right away.

Driver side is tightest. Instead of bending a wrench that I would never use again, I used the Thuren shock nut kit. The nut removal tool was easy to hold in place while I removed the bolt. The nut kit was so easy to start by hand, then finish from the outside to tighten and torque. I finished both sides in 45 min total. It would have been hours longer without the Thuren kit.
