The ultimate option for maximum performance! Our long arms allow the axle to move in a more vertical motion, greatly improving ride quality compared to the factory OEM short-arm design.

Fitment:

  • Fits and functions with from 0" - 6" of suspension lift.

Details:

  • Optimum suspension cycle path, to reduce roll-steer while keeping a bit of anti-dive, and easing driveline vibration.
  • Must be welded to frame, and OEM control arm mounts cut off/removed.
  • Uses Thuren machined self-centering 17-4 hardened stainless orbital joint pivots with .PTMEG Poly joints. EASY and cheap to rebuild if/when needed!
  • 0.00mm Offset wheels provide full turning radius with Toyo 37x13.5 MT tires. +18mm offset wheels will rub the paint a bit with 37x13.5 tire, but will be tolerable.
  • Arms come powder-coated and assembled, while the brackets are raw steel for welding.

2004 Ram 3500 Long Arms

Possibly the best thing I've done for my truck. The difference from these and the stock control arms is insane. I find myself purposely going out of my way to hit potholes and shitty spots in the road just to feel how good the truck handles it now. Washboards on dirt roads are no factor anymore. Amazing upgrade that puts a smile on your face when driving down the road!

Went from short arms to long arms. The ride is night and day better. The corrected geometry makes the truck point and shoot on and off road.

Worth the money

After talking with the folks at Thuren, I pulled the trigger on a set of long arms. They arrived faster then i expected. After getting them installed I drove the truck home which was about 110 miles and I would say I definitely feel a difference between the drive to drop off vs pickup on the so cal streets and freeways.

Truck feels smoother going over small sharp bumps rolling bumps, potholes etc. and more stable going through streets and on the freeway. I also noticed the truck doesn't dive nearly as much under braking. Just need to upgrade the shocks to complete the package.

Alien Arms!

Don’s Alien Arms are very well designed and the craftsmanship is absolutely world class. The install is more complex than installing short arms but it is not too bad as long as you have a competent welder complete the welding. Huge improvement in ride and overall feel of the truck! I installed these on a 3” lift and the small sharp edge bumps that use make the whole truck shudder are now absorbed and go almost unnoticed. Roll steer is greatly reduced as well. Highly recommend!
