The Thuren 1994-2002 Front Trackbar kit corrects suspension geometry, by relocating the upper bar main pivot to a more proper location. This upgraded engineering allowed us to reduce bump steer, while also improving overall steering quality with our extremely rigid unique Double-Shear bracket mounting design.

Our frame side bracket is extremely easy to install compared to what has been historically available, and feedback after a few hundred of these kits sold has been even better than we expected. As of 3/2/23 Patent Paperwork has been filed and paid for, so now we are legally Patent Pending on this design!

Fitment:

  • 1994-2002 Ram 2500/3500
  • 1994-2001 Ram 1500 4x4.
  • 1999-2002 may require slight grinding for fit. Read STEP 13 HERE .

Details:

  • Includes our Tool Steel 33mm/1.28" Crowfoot Wrench
  • Can function on any 0" - 4" suspension lift and is designed to be used without a drop pitman arm.
  • Can support up to 13" suspension travel and allow the suspension to use factory bump travel.
  • Should clear most larger diff covers. We have not received feedback determining otherwise after a few hundred kits sold.

Handles much better

After changing out the track bar on my 2000 Ram 3500. It drastically improved the feel of this truck. It handles much better. The steering feels tighter and the overall confidence I have in the truck has improved. The installation wasn't quite drop in and bolt up, but also wasn't bad. Climbing under and grinding for some clearance was the most time consuming part. Time will tell how long this lasts, but so far I'm very optimistic.

Well thought out, pleasure to work with

I installed this track bar outside, in mid-20 degree weather while lying on frozen pea gravel. That I never once cussed, bad-mouthed the product or threw anything should tell you everything you need to know about fitment and quality! In fact, I sent pictures and raved about it to friends around the globe.
I am quite sick of working with garbage, and this was refreshing. A well thought out, quality product with excellent instructions. Good work!

Best 2nd Gen track bar kit I have used

I’ve owned several 2nd-gen Dodge diesels, and every one of them suffered from short-lived track bars. I tried OEM-style replacements and other aftermarket kits, but they all slowly degraded and needed replacing again.

I hesitated on the Thuren kit—the price stings—but the design and build quality sold me. Shipping was fast, packaging was solid, and once I had the parts in hand, the quality was obvious. Installation was straightforward, and the instructions clearly covered the fitment variations across the eight-year model range.
