Ordered the xs springs and track bar. And the springs have to have a leveling spacer or the springs hit frame rail. And track bar is all the way short and axle I'd still not centered. So not sure what's going on. They ride smooth but I don't think they work with aftermarket control arms.
As advertised, these front springs are smooth over pot holes compared to the stock front springs. My 1997 12 valve rides like a new truck. Thanks Thuren.
Much better ride.
Installed XS coils, Fox 2" shocks and track bar.
The ride is much better!!! I can hit a speed bump at 25 mph vs 3. The shocks are well tuned for those coils.
I will cut of the rear overload leaf as outlined in their tech area and install some Fox shocks. Then fitting some 37" tires. The tech area covers this too. Very happy with the out come. Needed a spring compressor to get the coils in. The shocks were a pain but made a lever from a 2x4 to compress them and get those top bolts started. Drilling the drivers hole for the track bar took 90 degree drill. Drilled with a uni bit, then feed the drill bit in and drilled the rear hole.
Way better than stock !!! Still a bit firm... and downside is the 2 inch lift that now makes my truck look a bit squatted... Easy install and will have to do my other 2 dodges same way.. Just wish it didnt LIFT the front end ,, so does Alignment guy !!! Found FAPCO 2 in. lift shocks on EBAY for $85 and am Happy with that! NOW if I could chill out the rear leafs...Cause a bad highway will PUNISH you !!!
